Gary; Do not worry about damaging the relay in the TL-922. The concern is the spike the TL-922 generated when its relay is released from closure to open could be again as high as the 122 volts, adding to the previous voltage for a total of nearly 250 volts peak. That is how much voltage the amp buffer must be able to repeatedly with stand. That is cutting it close when it compares to the Icoms FET switch rating spec of 300 volts. One thing I would suggest you do is to put a diode such as a 1N4004 from the TL-922 rly line to ground in the reverse direction so as it will clamp any back emf generated by the relay coil in the TL-922.

Thanks, Larry! I read on the web that the TL-922A runs at at least 120V, 20mA.
The 7600 can be set to run 250V. I am concerned about burning out the TL-922A
relay and am not sure how I should proceed.
