Pete,
If it is 9.1 MHz, a 10.7 MHz possibly could be reworked if you can find one
with the same form factor and similar windings. This certainly beats trying
to rewind one.
Another option may be if there is an existing resonance capacitor, add a
small parallel capacitor to the original one to try and 10.7 coil and
resonate it at 9.1 MHz. If this is an option use a good mica or NPO ceramic
capacitor. The circuit performance may be degraded but it is better than
nothing. Another possible option may be to use the 10.7 MHz coil and remove
some wire form it until it resonates at 9.1 MHz. The issue is if this is the
type that one can get access to the windings and modify them.
Good luck.
Mort, NA6MA

It has ATLAS JAPAN stamped on the can along wih LS266 J4 J4 isprobably a
run #
or date code.I've been all over the net to no avail can't find squat on
atlas.I believe it's about
9.1 mhz from the circuit.I have no parameters on it.I could try to rewind it
but my eyes are crap so there we are.It would be good to find out a cross
reference for these.I used to own an electronic repair shop and remember
this problem before>Some manufacturers used to put the part # and the
suppliers part # with it but Icom didn't seem to for these.Oh well
thanks guys Pete
these new TV's put out ahelluva racket all over the bands
