2 meter FM transceivers and other Miscellaneous
Icom equipment For Sale:
Icom IC-228 H, 45 watt 2 meter mobile transceiver:
The Icom 228H is a 45 watt 2 Meter mobile FM transceiver.
There is also a setting for 5 watts output when less power is
needed. The multi-colored backlit LCD display is readable
over a wide range of light. This radio has 20 memories and
priority watch. It also has programmed scanning or memory
scanning. This radio requires 13.8 VDC and receives from
138 to 174 MHz. It has a built in tone encoder.
This particular unit works great and looks very close to new.
It is in its original box, with mobile bracket, power cord,
and DTMF Touch Tone Microphone. It even has the bag of misc
hardware that I don't think has ever been opened.
With paper work for $110.
Icom IC-28 H, 2 meter FM mobile transceiver:
The Icom IC-28 H is a well-built 2 meter FM mobile transceiver
providing 45 watts of power. There is also a setting for 5
watts output when less power is needed. The backlit LCD display
is readable over a wide range of light. This radio has 21 memories.
It also has programmed scanning or memory scanning. This radio
requires 13.8 VDC and received from 138 to 174 MHz. It has a
built in tone encoder.
It works fine and looks fine also. No mobile bracket or "extras"
with this one -- just the radio and paper work for $80.
Battery Chargers:
Icom BC-127 A, Battery Charger for Icom IC-Q7A Dual Band HT:
This charger charges two AA NiCads (or NiMH) for the
IC-Q7 A Dual band HT, and Icom R-2 receiver, and probably
others.
This appears to be new, unused, still in its bag.
Icom lists them at $21. Buy this one for $12.
Icom BC-110 A Wall Wort Charger:
It produces 12 V DC at 200 ma.
I am not sure of all the units that use this charger. I know
it is used by many of the aircraft HTs, and also to charge the
R-10, T2H, T7H, T70, T80AD, T90A, T91A, T92AD, W32A, and I am
sure others. Apparently it is also known as a BC-167 in
addition to BC-110 A. This is NOT one of the switching units,
so you will not have RFI from this one.
This one works fine and appears very close to new.
Icom charges almost $40 for this. Buy this one for $15.
Icom batteries and DC accessories:
Icom DC-25
This is a pack that is used on the Icom µ2AT, Icom µ4AT, and
on other HTs that use the BP-20, BP-21, BP-22, BP-23 and BP-24
battery packs. It takes 13 V DC (such as from a cigarette
lighter), and converts it to the 9.4 V DC voltage needed for
the HT. It is used in place of a battery. This one works
fine and looks fine. $20
Icom BP-21
This battery pack is DEAD and sold for rebuilding, building
a DC converter, or whatever. $10
Icom BP-22
This battery pack is DEAD and sold for rebuilding, building
a DC converter, or whatever. $10
