[ICOM] IC-756 Pro 3 Question

Larry:
#1- I am not using the jumpers as illustrated on pages 8 & 9, When I 
purchased the SignaLink USB for the ICOM 756 PRO 3, I chose to go with the 
plug and play module, it was only $ 7.95.  So I plugged but I am not 
playing...HiHi! However for my Kenwood TS 950 SDX I purchased the jumper 
version.
#2 Yes the red light is coming on the SignaLink USB but the transmitter is 
not being keyed.
#3 AS far as the audio selections, I feel they are maxed out as indicated in 
the instructions.
#4 As far as the PTT goes, I looked through the manual table of contents, 
there is no mention of PTT.  However there is a few comments about
Break in function : Semi break in operation and Full break in operation. 
Nothing in the SignaLink but in the ICOM manual.
#5 when you say "It may be a PTT line selection problem", what exactly do 
you men? I can't find any reference to PTT in the manual.  However with the 
jumper system there is a mention of PTT, but I am using the module which is 
just a plug and play unit and no messing with those tiny wires.

Verify your jumper settings per page 8 and 9 of the signalink USB manual. It 
appears your ptt line to the pro is not operating. Is the transmit light on 
the Pro coming on? If so, it is an audio level problem. If not, then it may 
be a ptt line selection problem.

Are you saying the PTT needs to be implimented?
Can't find it in the manual
