[ICOM] 751 Vs. 751A

Good Day All,

I'm in the market here for a good used Icom 751A transceiver, but I've seen
ads for its predecessor---the 751---with prices that are, on average, some
$100.00 less than the going rate for the "A" model...

Does anyone know just what changes took place in the design & execution
between these two rigs, that might account for this difference...?
Performance-wise, I've heard everything from "....there is NO difference in
the two," to, "...the 751 is a dog."

IS there a definitive answer out there...?
