[ICOM] 756Pro interface question with KAM

Hello all,
   Have a IC-756Pro, with a KAM plus and Hostmaster II software.
Tried working the RTTY contest this weekend, couldn't get the serial
number function to work with Hostmaster.   Anyone know where I might
find help with this problem?   I'm in TX, my manuals are all in FL,
really a headache.   Had a massive heart attack last year, family
moved me, and part of my stuff is still in FL.   Any help appreciated.
