[ICOM] Operating Icom's

Gordon,

I am usually generating QRM on 40 meters generally I check into the Noon
Time net on 7268.50 MHz when I am out and about.
I was on 20 meters a couple of weeks ago or so and chatted with a fellow
in Washington, DC then heard another and he was sitting on a mountain
top in Alaska waiting for the sun to get right to do some photo shoots.
All from my truck, HS1800/Pro and my 706MKII. Good sunspot activity is
wonderful for a pip-squeak mobile signal.
I have since picked up a little digital voice recorder for mobile logging.
I'll have to look up the 10 meter repeaters and see if the little
706MKII or when installed the IC-7000 plays there.

When you folks get ready to sell some surplus rigs, where do you sell it
at other than on this list, which seems to work good too.
I'll check out the rigs before I let them go I have a HP-8656B sig gen
and a Drake W-4 and Telewave 20 to 1000 MHz meter wattmeter,
Optoelectronics counter along with a 100 watt RELM flat load.
