Peter: If the red light is on, it means the power supply is switching, which is a good sign. You will need to open the inner chassis to determine the likely problem. One possibiliy is the slide on lugs connecting the power leads to the radio have slipped off during shipping .Use caution when opening the inner chassis, as the switching rectifiers are mounted to one if the chassis walls. Do not operate the supply with the covers open unless an isolation transformer is used, as AC line voltage is present inside the voltage doubler part of the supply.
Good luck, Larry K4LXV.

Thank you, Adam.
Looking at the schematic, there should be no reason for
no DC output with the LED shining brightly.
What am I missing?
