[ICOM] IC-745 Meter Lamp Replacement

Greetings!

This is my first post as an Icom user, so here goes...

I have had an IC-745 for about 2 years now but just started using it on- the-air recently.  (My "other" rig is a Drake C line)  I really love using the 745 plus its my first solid-state radio.  My question is:  Is the meter lamp still available from Icom, or is there 'suitable' replacement out there like the sub-mini bulbs Radio Shack carries?  I see they have a 12 volt, 25 ma bulb that is small enough to fit.

Also, aside from the MEM Battery issue, what would cause an abrupt 4kHz shift (up) while in receive mode?  I have heard/seen this happen a number of times since I've had it.  I don't have the freq. marker board, but the rig does actually calibrate ok with my homebrew marker generator.  Seems to happen only after its been on awhile.  (heat issue??)

Any help would be great!
