[ICOM] AFSK RTTY with PROIII

When I was at Icom I used to advise those who wanted to use CW narrow
filters in SSB mode to tell the rig the installed filter was a SSB
filter even though the slot contained a narrow CW filter. Worked fine if
one used the narrow filter selection. However the ProIII having DSP
adjustable filters why couldn't you just narrow up the filter for AFSK
RTTY use and widen it back out for voice? I know its not as handy as
already tuned settings but I think it should be able to do that.

You have likely investigated all of the FSK and MMTTY but here is a link
I found http://www.aa5au.com/gettingstarted/rtty_start7.htm
In the page linked, I glanced through it says to use COM3 and then some
sort of USB to Serial or Parallel interface.
I would like to think the Rig Blaster Pro would suffice for that FSK
interface but maybe its the problem for FSK and MMTTY.

Hope some of this helps.
