[ICOM] Icom 765 low output on 80meters

[Bruce]

Disconnect the PA filter from the output of the PA..you should get 
about 130-140 watts output.
If you do then you have a blown cap in the PA filter section for the 
80 meter band or just
inspect the PA filter for the 80 meter band and see if you can find a 
shorted or burned cap.
If you don't get the 130-140 watts out of the PA then the problem 
goes back to the RF unit
before the PA.

PS: Tuner has nothing to do with it if it isn't being used.
