[ICOM] Left handed?

I have met Mr Inoue during his visits to Icom America when I worked
there. I don't remember if he is left or right handed.
Have no explanation as to why the rigs controls are designed as they
are. maybe they took the control location from vehicle broadcast radios
of the day as most the volume was on the left.
I am a lefty also, I send CW with my right hand and write down what I am
receiving with my left hand.
And very happy to be using my right mind though some here may take
exception to that statement ;)
