But it is also thick. The (I forgot the proper name for it but don't
believe it's a skirt) rubber surface would have to have stretched a lot
to be able to use the double sided foam tape between the nob and rubber
cylinder used for finger traction. <:-))
I've had the much larger versions on OLD camera lenses do that as well.
The foam tape should be available at Lowe's, Home Depot, and most
hardware stores.
They also have a much thinner version (not carpet tape) that is often
used to stick sheet plastic over windows. That stuff really sticks.
BTW I use the double sided foam tape to hold the remote mount for the
control head on my duoband mobile.
Icom is likely to have the knob complete even if it is an old transceiver.
