[ICOM] amp & ICOM question

Larry; Congratulations on your ProIII-Alpha amp combo. That sounds awesome. I would suggest that you verify the keying voltage of the 8406 does not exceed what the ProIII can safely handle. Those voltages were at one time posted on the old Alpha website, but that site has now been replaced. Alpha amps over the years have used various keying voltages. The 8406 is very likely OK to be keyed by the pro, but I suggest you double check. FYI see  www.qsl.net/icom/keyspecs.html

Anyone using the newer alpha amps with their PROIII... I'm trying to avoid
any overlooked pitfalls I might have missed... a 8406 being driven with the
PROIII is the setup... thanks much...73 Larry
