[ICOM] IC-2710 a little deaf on 2m only

I've got an IC-2710 which, in the last week, has very suddenly gone 
somewhat deaf on 2-m only (not 440?)  Is there any precedent for this? 
Easy repair or ship-it-to-Bellevue time?
