[ICOM] IC-781 CIV converter problem

Great find, Larry!  That is tremendously helpful website.  I will try 
and get into it later this evening.  I amd using a W1GEE level converter 
which has the electronics buried inside the DB9 connector, so some of 
the test will be a bit more difficult to accomplish.
