I had the same problem with the Ford E-350 1-ton dog show van. It rides taller
than most pick-ups.
I was told of a European design that is a 1/4 wave on 2m and a 5/8 wave on 70 cm
with a single feedline. After several experimental tries, I got it down.
You were one of the biggest helps to me when I was in the Army. I would be so
very pleased if I could help you back. I would be quite willing to share that
design with you. Best of all, it would mean only ONE hole in the new truck.
Just say the word.
