[ICOM] QST - 7600

Hi Ekki,
I don't remember the exact noise floor figures for the 756ProIII, but
those reported
for the 7600 in QST are -131 -139 -141 for 3.5 thru 14 mhz (preamp
off, on 1, on 2),
and I doubt the ProIII is any "better" than that, if as good.
One definite statement the QST reviewers make is, "All told, this
performance [two-tone, third-order
IMD at 2khz spacing] is SUBSTANTIALLY superior to the ProIII's."
[emphasis in original] Given that the ProIII
had only one (15khz) roofing filter, this could scarcely NOT be the case.
