Hi John,
Check Adam's reviews (on his website) of the 7600, 7700, and 7800 re the
receivers, etc. That seems
to me the best place to get a good comparison.
From actual experience here, with a 7800 next to a 7700 for a month,
there is
no question in my mind the 7700 receiver is superior. I no longer own a
7800.
The review IS tempting, isn't it? If I needed a rig, I'd sure want to
study that 7600
a bit more.
