[ICOM] ICOM 761 variants

Greetings !   I've recently acquired an ICOM 761.    I noticed that it has the "New" Icom logo.   Pictures of the ICOM 761 I have seen show the radios as having the "Old" Icom logo.  Aside from the different logos does anyone have any knowledge of there being any functional differences between various vintages of the ICOM 761 ?
