www.icom.co.jp then click up top Global. then click Support in the
top menus then choose Manual Downloads. Now you can choose Amateur
manuals or input the model number.
The link below will take you right to the IC-2SA PDF manual, it did
for me if not do the above.

http://www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/manual/pdf/IC-2SA_2SE.pdf

Also if you go to the www.icom.co.jp site there is a IC-2SA tech
talk. Its in PDF format and is a 10 meg download. It shows the rest
of the things you need to program the IC-2Sa.
At the time Japan was thinking people like simple things so they made
the manual simple and the IC-2SA simple to operate and that was fine
for most. But for things like setting the code squelch using the
UT-49 you needed the multi function mode and that tech talk to do it.

Remember if you have not used this radio in a while, charge up the
battery and then do a reset. It has a rechargeable internal lithium
battery which gets it's charge from an external fully charged
battery. When it goes dead many times the 2SA series acts broken,
really the CPU starts at an unknown place it seems and a full reset
fixes that. Memories are already lost due to the rechargeable battery
pack going dead anyway.

I no longer see a way to thank Icom Japan for making the effort to
PDF most of their older manual and making them available for download
on the www.icom.co.jp web page. They used to take inquiries directly,
now they send you to the various distributors around the world.
