[ICOM] CI-V device not reading frequency

Thanks Larry,

I just ordered a replacement off of eBay. $17.95 from Valley Enterprises in 
Idaho. It is USB. I will only be controlling the rig with it. Cable is 3' 
long. Computer I put together myself about a year ago. Motherboard is an 
EVGA 650i, It one of the few that still has serial port connection. I'll 
reserve that for controlling other devices. Hopefully I'll be getting a 
digital controller for my RD-1800 one of these days. And who knows maybe 
I'll run across an NTE7143 to replace the one in the serial controller I 
have.
