Larry,
Not sure the entire link will work since you have
to agree to a question but some will get you to
the Icom Japan web site. there choose Global in
the upper right cornet, then support then manual
downloads. The IC-207 manual is some 5 megs in
size. http://www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/manual/pdf/IC-207H.pdf
Or I'll save it on my computer and I could email
it to you if you can accept such large emails.
Icom America's web page no longer has the IC-207
on it. On the 207 manual page 46 it talks about
programming a DTMF code, there is a "d" in the
left side of the display. Press and hold DTMF for
about 1 second to get into that mode. Press "SET"
to enter programming mode and turn the tuning
dial to the desired digit. In your case turn it
to the dash "-" for all digits then press the tuning dial to exit that mode.
The partial reset will not get rid of DTMF memory
channels., the full reset press "SET" and "S. MW"
while turn on the power. This may also restart
the demo mode to exit that press "BAND" while pressing PWR.
