[ICOM] Using Microham Microkeyer II with IC7600

You do have the flexibility to change the CI-V address of the IC-7600 to
something the microKeyer has in its listing.
You might give up a CI-V function or two. I am sure the other things
like the AFSK, FSK, CW keying will work fine as those are not software
related unless the microKeyer uses CI-V commands to make those features
function. Icom surely does not change the CI-V command number for each
product so most CI-V commands will be common between both the IC-7600
and IC-7700. There may be a feature difference between the 2 products
though.
You may need to download both the 7600 and 7700 manuals to print out
the CI-V commands from each to compare them.
The microKeyer looks to be a pretty nifty product. Have you contacted
the microKeyer company to see about updates to their product?
