Hi Group, I also tried the ICOM CT-17 route and gave up, too much aggravation not to mention the price. However, for about $11 you can have your CT17 interface, go to ebay item number 270429047222 and you'll see the answer. This cable connects your computers USB port to the 756 series of radios CT-IV rear panel port. The USB driver is available free from the sellers website. It works perfect with HR Deluxe and probably other programs. Good luck, Ken
