Hi San,  I recently restored an old boat anchor that had the 1960's style hammertone paint. I found a Rust-Oleum HAMMERED Unique Finish at Lowes in spray cans. It wasn't the exact shade but looked 100% better that the old worn out paint. Actually the re-painted grey top and bottom case now nicely complement the original grey front panel color. It's worth a look. 73 Ken
