[ICOM] R-71A battery replacement

>From what I understood if someone replaced the battery on a R-71A (without maintaining the 3 volts) you had to send it to Icom to program the radio back to life. According to this website is this all you have to do?

  1.. Push the LSB button.  Only the LSB operation mode will be active.
  2.. Key in a correct frequency using the numeric keypad. For example 7.050.0 MHz and save it in VFO-A.
  3.. Push the VFO A=B button. The two VFOs will be now set to the same frequency. The equipment is preset and initialized.
  4.. You may now program the 32 memory channels.
