Dave,
I have a copy of the CI-V spec that applies to the IC-735. It has all the
command structures. I can scan it and send you a copy if you desire.
I have a 735 that I have had since 1986 and use it in the Motorhome and also
for SO2R testing on new beta versions of Logger32. The 735 CI-V is fixed at
1200 baud factory default. however it does support 300 and 9600 baud. I run
mine on 9600. This can be changed by jumpers inside the radio.
Another suggestion. Logger32 fully supports the 735 and it has a Radio
DE-Bug window that echoes all the commands to the radio and the radio
response. It would be a good tool to see how it all works. Its available
freebie at: http://www.logger32.net/
There is also a simple CI-V commander program that does the things that you
want and its also freebie at: http://www.dxlabsuite.com/commander/
