Actually, I'm luckier than just having a wife and son licensed. Her 
brother is a ham and her Dad (SK) was a ham. Had that not been the case 
I likely would've thrown out of the house when she first brought me home 
to meet her parents :>)

Unfortunately having a ham radio family will not help to get us any 
closer to the IC-7700. We'll just have to be happy with the IC-765.
