[ICOM] Encoder for IC751A - main tuning

Hi Jim,
I don't know how much room you have inside that 735, but the 751A --- with
the OUTBOARD AC power supply --- has lots.
That's why I hot-melted a battery holder for two AAA cells inside, and wired
the thing in parallel with the leads to the memory battery: whenever I
replace the lithium "disk", I always install a couple of fresh penlights
into the holder to ensure the memory won't die on me.
In the 20 years I've owned the rig (got it brand new), I've replaced the
battery twice (translates to a new battery every 8 years, I guess) --- not
because I absolutely / positively HAD to, but because I thought it was cheap
insurance to do so.
