Hello folks,

First of all, thanks a ton to all that have spent thier valuable time
in helping me with details on getting this rig functional. From
shorted tantalums, to jumper settings for 9600 baud CI-V.

I have slowly been getting my old 735 back operational. To date, have
brought it from dead, to making contacts, and modifying my software
for software control of the radio. I still have some issues that I
would like to address. I will list them as separate items below:

1 - The readout frequency is about 110Hz too high. Will a simple
adjustment of the 1st local oscillator take care of this, or is it
more complex?

2 - The receiver seems very sensitive to overload. It has been so long
since I have used this rig, I do not know if it is the normal behavior
for the 735. It seems once a signal gets over S9, the signal starts to
distort. Any comments?

3 - It looks like I am getting close to tuner encoder problems. It
basically works well, but sometimes acts odd. Could this be a cleaning
issue?

Any and all comments appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Dave - KI4KQ
