[ICOM] IC-718 ACC port fried?

Chris,

It sounds like the interface input is connected to the 13.8 volt pin instead of the AF output. Check your wiring. Its easy to mistake the pin number sequence on DIN connectors. Check your manual.

Your audio adapter could be mis-wired. If you are using the OPC-599 adapter, remember the pin numbers on the ACC #1 DIN plug are not numbered consecutive left to right. They jump around. Double check the interface cable wiring and I bet you will find the problem.
