Hi John,
On the 756 ProIII: Initially it gives the second vfo the same BW when you hit
the split button. However, you can push the Main/Sub button or hold in the XFC
button , and change the filter BW on VFO 2.

Subject: [ICOM] IF-DSP and bandwidth question
Here is a question I have about Icom IF-DSP rigs like
the Icom 7000, 746PRO, and such:
When running split frequency operation (like in a DX
pileup) can you put the VFOs on different bandwidths?
Say I am listening to the DX station on VFO A and I
set it for 500hz bandwidth. I am using VFO B for
transmitting, but want to tune around to find the last
station he worked, so I want a wider bandwidth. Can I
set this VFO for 1.8khz bandwidth, or will it stay at
500hz also? I had a TS2000 which also has IF-DSP and
it always had both VFOs set to the same bandwidth.
