I am betting that this is not the IC151 failure but will be a transitor on the PA board. This is the most recent problem popping up. I have a friend who purchased a new 746 pro for Christmas last year. In the eight months of ownership, he experienced the same identical failure not once, not twice, not thrice but FOUR times. Icom bought it back and gave him a full refund. Check with Icom, they may fix it for you. Then I would sell immediately.
