Yeah - I have 5 IC-901As on line. Two are just dual-banders. One of those is
at work. The other in the Toyota - our run-around-town car. The third is in
the house with 144, 144-ssb, 220, 440, 1200. Another in the dog show van just
like the house unit. The last is in my jeep, fully loaded with 29, 50, 144,
220, 440 and 1200, plus 144 SSB and the receiver module. I have an extra 28,
50, 220 and receiver module in the spare parts boxes.

I would sell every part of that for 5 IC-906/9000 type radios. Maybe not all at
once, but as soon as I could afford it.

What we are asking for I guess would be a perfect V/UHF rover radio.

BTW - shack:
IC-781 - IC-2KL - AT500.
IC-551D.
5 each IC-901As.
IC-706 mk-I in the bug-out kit.
P.O.S. IC-820S sitting in the junk pile.

ICOM - ARE YOU LISTENING? I will send you the specs again if you ask.....
<grin>

Nice to dream - isn't it?

Mike - KD9KC.
