Eric: Even if you were able to get the radio going for another $100, you would still have twice that amount in a radio that might still have drift problems and a readout on a 25 year old radio that is good to only the nearest 100 hz. You might wish to consider that prospect. If you possess the technical expertise to repair it yourself, then it becomes a different issue. Larry K4LXV.
