 From the QTH.net FAQ at http://mailman.qth.net/spamfaq.htm:

"Note that HTML mail should not be sent to lists as this increases 
the possibility of your message being rejected. If you don't know 
how, you can learn how to send mail in Plain-Text at: 
www.expita.com/nomime.html or mailman.qth.net/plaintext.htm."

To put it another way, HTML mail will be bounced automatically.  The 
system has been this way for many many years.
