[ICOM] R9000 remarks

I have s/n 2602.  Also, people might wish to know whether the receiver is
blocked for cellular or not.

     I think on this particular item the interested parties want to know a
bit more, like Serial Number, original manual and box or not and cosmetic
and electrical condition  and, lastly, if the handles and rear guard are
there. They were NOT options but included as accessories. The serial # needs
to be >2000, early models had a LOT of heat problems. The highest SN sold in
the USA was about 2300 I think. Mine is a late 2001 model from Hong Kong
with SN 5323. You need to run these on variac at about 105 volts, lessens
heat by 50% and no decrease in performance. They are nice receivers and I
will always keep mine.. 73 and thanks for letting the Icom guys have a shot
first.
