At the risk of being asked (told?) to leave this reflector, those wanting
dual receive and HF + 6 radios look at the Elecraft K3 (www.elecraft.com).
These are new radios having been introduced just before Dayton this year and
are now shipping. The prices quoted on the web site are very attractive for
what the radio offers; 160 through 6 meters, options of either 10 watts or
100 watts at purchase and an upgrade for the low power unit at a later date,
CW and RTTY decode built in, full dual receive.
No, I don't have one and I don't have one on order. Some that have tested
it compare it favorably to the Ten-Tec Orion II.
Enjoy the looking.
