[ICOM] mics for icom followup

I just installed the same RS part, which has been hanging on my shop 
door AS A REMINDER..  of what a good device it is. Had it so long it 
is marked $ .99.

I found a great black gooseneck which also has an AKG dynamic 
element..( which has a peaking at about 2.5-3K....  I mounted the 
electret directly in front of the dynamic element and ran separate 
output lines thru the gooseneck.
While I am certain that the case of the electret causes interference 
( distortion) to the wavefront entering the dynamic ...they both 
sound great...and provide a quick plug into my icom sets,,,, while 
the dynamic provides a balanced feed into an audio processor ( should 
I want to mess around)...
