Along inflation and other economics we need to factor in the value of
the USdollar
vs other currencies on the global market. Back in the days of Drake
and such we
were buying US gear with USdollars, and when we bought Japanese gear
the USdollar
was worth much more than the Yen. Such isn't the case these days.
