[ICOM] re:IC761 p/s

I have an IC761 which has a problem in the power supply shutting down 
under load.
Appears to be suppplying voltage under no-load. Wasnt sure if XCVR 
problem or powersupply
but connected external supply to radio and worked ok. I hope I have 
found the problem in
a faulty transistor 2SC2501 either Q2 or Q3(not sure which one), would 
appreciate an opinion
as to the likelihood of this causing the problem, multimeter says it has 
C-E short, will try and get a new one for it tomorrow. No sign of any 
corrosion in mine when opened.
