Theo the Elecraft K3 is the only rig I know
of that will allow true *phase-locked* diversity (as
was possible on the FT-1000D with an aftermarket mod).

for diversity use or under crowded contest conditions.
K3 + Sub RX + KXV3 + two 500 Hz filters for $2825
assembled or $2525 kitted. IMHO this combination
cannot be duplicated by any competitive rig due
to the quality of *both* K3 receivers (pending full
IMD/BDR measurements of course)."
