[ICOM] 706MKIIG

I have the 706G and have a terrible amount of noise on the
receiver... so loud that I cannot hear a station if they
were on the frequency. The DSP does help some but not as
much as I would like it to. I have the 1.9khz and 500hz
filters.

To be able to listen I have to turn off the Preamp and turn
on the attenuator. Maybe that is the best I can do and will
have to live with it. But, thought I would ask anyway. W4RT
has a DSP that they install in 706's and their claim is
that their DSP works a lot better.
