[ICOM] 746 Pro on 6 and 2 Meters

Hello all:
           Has anyone used the 746 Pro on 6 and 2 Meter SSB?  How does it work for weak signal reception on those bands?  What are you comparing it with? How is it on crowded bands with adjacent strong signals on HF, 6, and 2 Meters?  Do all the great DSP functions operate the same on 6 and 2 Meters as on HF?  Still have many questions before I buy one.
