[ICOM] Using 706mkiig with mast mount preamp

I'm sure others will contribute answers but you need
to take a look at the "Sequencer" - a construction
project in (i believe) last months QST.
The important thing is not only to disable it but to
bypass it. Preferably, with a time delay before the Tx
RF is energised. There is a line on the acc jack of
the 706 that indicates that the PTT is pressed but
(IMHO) that may be too late to protect the preamp from
the RF that is on the way.
Let's see what others have to offer.
