[ICOM] AT-500 "Wait" LED constantly On

I'm using the tuner with a general HF transceiver (i.e. no cables in
between for automatic band switching, etc.).
In testing it with a friend who had a ProII, the tuner appeared to work
but I honestly don't remember if the "Wait" LED was contantly illuminated
at that time. I'm thinking not, because that's something one of us
surely would have noticed.
