[ICOM] icom 706 rtty question

Thanks to those that made suggestion about my rtty being reversed.
I found the problem. I had the mode set to rRTTY.
Kept reading the manual and finally that paragraph sunk in.


So I have one more request and I should be done.

Can anyone using the 706 explain why I do not hear diddles from the speaker 
when transmitting in rtty mode?

I can't find anything in the manual about that.
I hear cw sidetone
I hear PSK audio

I just don't hear rtty diddles/sounds etc.
