i also am interested in the outcome....as I am considering using this combo.

I use the atas manually now , works great on the 706g.

Had an AMCOM auto controller that did the same thing , and was able 
to tame it with toroids,,,,  however the AMCOM unit went south , 
followed closely by the company itself.... too bad   great idea .
