You are correct. However the CAP doesn't have that distinction. We use USAFA for the USAF Aux and the USAF uses USAFA for the USAF ACADEMY. Sorry for the confusion.

It affects everyone who used government assigned
frequencies. CAP and MARS freqs are assigned to us
by the various military frequency control agencies.
Be it USAF, USA or USN/USMC. The USCGA is affected
also even though they are Homeland Insecurity.
